I am a graphic designer who specialized in Motion Graphic based in Los Angeles, California. I studied at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and graduated in 2000. Right after graduation I was recruited by Imaginary Forces and not long after, I full-timed at Yu+co for a number of years. Later in 2007, I decided to freelance and work with different studios and clients.

Since then I have worked with Motion Graphic Design shops, TV Networks, and Agency such as: PIC, Discovery Agency, dk, OWN, Blind, Troika, Picture Mill, Radley, NWE, Offspring NY, Radium, Grand Jeté, Buster, Asylum FX, 1741/Trailer Park, Ember, E! Network, Stardust, and Ayzenberg Group.

My path took me to specialize in the creative aspect of the job, like concept development, storyboard design, both look/style and storytelling. I mainly use Photoshop and Illustrator. Although I know a bit of C4D for 3D stuff, I mostly get by without it for designing purposes.

Even though I work in Motion Graphic industry, I haven’t really need to animate in years, since most of my clients hired me for my creative skill, which I found myself to be most passionate about. I still remember the basic of After Effect, if one day I need to jump back into production mode.

I have received a few awards through my works:

Clio Awards (2018), Communication Arts march (2001), Dark Horizon Website, Poster of the year (2001), Type Director Club 51 (2004), Graphis Annual (2001), BDA Design Awards, Gold Awards Promax (2005), Telly Awards (2002), and a couple of Emmy Nominations.

When I'm not busy with work, I spend most of my time with my daughter, who is so proud to be a ‘4 year old’ big girl, and of course with my wife and dog too. My hobby and sport is tennis, I'm a fan of the sport and I (used to) play regularly to stay healthy.
